Tip 19 - Sleeping Capacity

Sleeping capacity, unit size and season are important in determining the value of a timeshare as well as the ability to exchange it. Since the developer and the exchange company may disagree on how they define the sleeping capacity, it is important to verify with the exchange organization exactly what sleeping capacity they have assigned to your timeshare.

VERIFY WITH THE EXCHANGE COMPANY EXACTLY WHAT SLEEPING CAPACITY THEY CONSIDER YOUR TIMESHARE TO BE FOR TRADING PURPOSES.

Listed below are possible sleeping capacity designations:

    1. Lock 0ff             -  2 to 4 guests  
    2. Hotel Unit           -  2 to 4 guests
    3. Efficency            -  2 to 4 guests
    4. Studio               -  2 to 4 guests
    5. Studio with loft     -  2 to 4 guests
    6. 1 Bedroom            -  2 to 6 guests
    7. 1 Bedroom with loft  -  2 to 6 guests
    8. 2 Bedroom            -  4 to 8 guests
    9. 2 Bedroom with loft  -  4 to 8 guests
   10. 3 Bedroom            -  6 to 10 guests
   11. 3 Bedroom with loft  -  6 to 10 guests
   12. 4 Bedroom            -  6 to 10 guests

Sleeping capacities vary based on private and maximum occupancy considerations.

   Private - number of guests a unit will accommodate based
             on two adults per separate sleeping area with 
             private access to a bathroom.
   
   Maximum - maximum number of guests a unit will 
             accommodate.
