LIVE INTERNET CHAT MAKES HISTORY
AT TRI WEST TIMESHARE AUCTION
LOS ANGELES--- Fifteen chattters from around the world (USA, Canada, France and
Greece) registered to bid at TRI WEST's 16th annual auction. Nine of the chatters
purchased 13 intervals. A French bidder working in and chatting from Russia bought
a Club Bali Hai timeshare located in Tahiti.
"After 16 successful auctions, a live auction supported with mail-in bids
and live internet chatters from around the world is the only way to sell a large
number of different resorts in different locations quickly and at a fair market price,"
said auction sponsor Mario Collura of TRI WEST. According to Collura, 78% of the
sellers who attended the auction and followed the TRI WEST minimum bid recommendations
sold their timeshare week.
A total of eighty timeshares were sold with an average price of $1,714. Highest
price paid was $6,400 for a week 16 at Vistana Resort in Orlando, Florida. Lowest
price paid was $295 for a mid week at Plaza Resort Club in Reno, Nevada.
